The Minor Arcana

The Minor Arcana represents varied experiences, subtleties, and insights of day-to-day life. It is comprised of 4 suits: traditionally Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. For the Provincetown Tarot, I reassigned the suits as things one might find on a Provincetown beach: Wood, Shells, Grass, and Stones, respectively.

Each suit corresponds with a natural element and is associated with a certain aspect of consciousness.
Wood : Fire : Creativity and Passion
Shells : Water : Emotion and Intuition
Grass : Air : Intellect and Ideas
Stones : Earth : the Material World
